Our final inaugural seasonal menu has hit our blackboard and display case at 8 E Lancaster Ave in Ardmore and all I can say is it’s going to be a good summer.
Exciting vegetarian dishes rule the roost, like our Corn & Tomato Succotash, Organic Zucchini Ribbons and Chickpeas, Tabouli (with what bulgar, parsley, tomato, cucumber celery and lemon olive oil), and Nicoise Salad (fresh tuna, capers, olives and hard-boiled egg with red wine vinaigrette).
There’s also plenty of flavor for carnivores. Our Dad’s Cheeseburger Slider spotlights a zesty, housemade 100% antibiotic- and hormone-free beef patty with brie butter, smoked Gouda, tomato and pickle. You will not need ketchup with this burger. Also our Smoked Pulled Pork in BBQ sauce brings all the flavors of the grill to your plate. Plus we’ve got a Prosciutto Panini that is buttressed by fresh mozzarella, seared plum, fresh basil and olive oil.
Cold soups are also part of the deal. Our Tomato & Cucumber Gazpacho is a fresh take on a summer classic. And it pairs nicely with our Tomato & Pesto Bruschetta, to which we’ve added some local cheddar.
Despite all that, dessert might be the best part. We are now proudly serving Weckerly’s Ice Cream, made with love in small batches in West Philly. Cups are $3.99 and come in three flavors: Cajeta Caramel Swirl, Fair Trade Chocolate and Strawberry-Basil Sorbet (vegan).
Stop in to taste what’s new, grab a menu and a coupon for a complimentary beverage with your next order. Our two new sprtizers are pretty sweet — Plum-Cherry and Lemon-Cucumber!
